On October 1, 2010, JME celebrated 20 years! Jack McDonald incorporated JME in October of 1990, and has since provided a multitude of local communities with quality engineering services.

At the Capital District Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineer's annual dinner in June of 2011, McDonald Engineering was presented an award for Outstanding Engineering Achievement for the design of the expansion to the City of Amsterdam's water treatment facility, completed in 2011. Doug Cole, P.E. was present to accept this award for the McDonald Engineering team.

In 2011, members of the McDonald Engineering team were elected onto the boards of the local chapters of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). We are thrilled to now have Doug Cole, P.E. serving as the Captial District Chapter of the NYSSPE 1st Vice President and Jenny Moon, P.E. serving as the secretary of the Mohawk-Hudson Section of ASCE!
