Anthony Carlisto, President of Ward Associates of Little Falls, NY, is pleased to announce the merger of Ward Associates with John M. McDonald Engineering of Schenectady, NY. The merging of the two firms will be doing business under the John McDonald Engineering name. John McDonald Engineering (JME) is a well-established municipal engineering firm with 18 employees including five licensed professional engineers. JME has been in business for over 25 years serving clients in and around the Mohawk and Hudson Valley Region. Ward Associates has been in business for over 40 years, providing engineering services for many municipal clients in the Herkimer, Oneida and Montgomery County areas.

For more than 10 years, the two firms have collaborated seamlessly on many municipal water and wastewater improvement projects, which led to the strategic decision to merge both companies and still maintain offices in both locations. This merger will better serve the municipal clients in the western section of the Mohawk Valley Region. It is anticipated the Little Falls office will grow from the current staffing of three employees to a total of 10 employees within the next three to four years.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the Ward Associates office on Monday, December 19th, 2016.
